JUST IN TIME FOR EASTER!  we got our hands on these DELECTABLE chocolate bunny ears from our friends at H.MANGELS CONFECTIONER up in milford, ct – a tradition of fine-quality hand-made chocolates.

these bunny ears are so good, that i couldn’t help myself from eating them after i took the photo for this post – - the smell was completely irresistible…..

the ears are filled with truffle filling of varying flavors – - milk or dark chocolate ears, filled with your choice of strawberry, raspberry or peanut butter.

introducing our own j.papers & co. line of hand-sewn note cards – - – for a quick note to someone special -

VERY RARELY do we have any issues with any of our vendors…..but if we do, jill and i will always try to see how we can figure things out so our customer’s needs can be satisfied.  we realize your events are important – and if we say we can get something for you, we’d like to deliver.

this post is an example of one of these times. the vendor that we use to print cocktail napkins called on friday (the day we were expecting the printed napkins to arrive), and said they couldn’t get the custom die to print well with the big block of color that i had designed. i was upset they hadn’t contacted us sooner, since they knew the due date, but it wasn’t going to get me anywhere,  being that it was already friday, and the party they’re for is today, monday. bottom line – -  the napkins weren’t coming. i had to figure out how to get those napkins printed with the logo my customer needed for her daughter’s big launch as the AUTHOR of a new book, Rock and Vine.

remembering when i did linoleum block printing back in high school, i thought somehow maybe that might work……….

we are LOVING the new edition of lollia candles that have arrived – complete with the packaging, the scents and the clean burn….they would make a great gift – and the scent names are super cute too! pictured here is the aptly named scent,  ’stacks of pretty paper’ (along with a GORGEOUS ARRANGEMENT given to us by one of our super-generous customers from winston flowers over on the avenue).
